The day finally arrived after hours of building, testing, painting, and fine tuning. Our float (which was actually more of a dock) is named Grace. She took part, with Lauren, Emily, Devon and myself in the 15th annual Slocan Valley Pokerfloat. And she made it.... 7 km.... in 5 hours. we were the last float thru the line before cut off... we had a blast... i tipped the float by accident and got everything water logged.... but still we had fun... and most importantly..... she floated....
